1932 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Fernandez & Darrin Sedanca


A rare and special Phantom II , beautifully bodied in Paris by the renowned French coach builders Fernandez & Darrin and is proportioned perfectly. The car has  various delightful touches , such as Magondeaux headlamps, Stephen Grebel side and tail lamps, “Fluted” scuttle , Art Deco door furniture and waistline treatment , twin side-mounted spare wheels.

Delivered new to Madame Juliette Violet at her home in Paris in 1932. Juliette was married to Jacques Violet whose family were responsible for the creation of the first French aperitif – Byrrh- in the 1870s.

Wonderfully solid, running and driving well , serviced ,MOT tested , UK registered , having spent its entire life until now in France .

Chassis no 66JS has just completed a 2000 mile round trip in order to take part in the prestigious RREC international rally organised by the Swedish section of the club . The car was driven from Northern Ireland to Molsheim , close to Strasbourg home of the Bugatti marque . A very enjoyable week was spent touring the Alsace vineyards and the car was presented along with several other Rolls-Royce and Bentley cars at the Bugatti club annual concours . The return journey took the car and driver through France to Luxembourg , Belgium departing from the hook of Holland to the port of Harwich and thence to Liverpool and home to Belfast . This fabulous car completed this journey faultlessly and is now presented to our discerning clients for sale .
